So the announcement that Mog is about to launch a vertical ad network for music lovers is not aligned with what I know about them. So what's going on? Most likely the influence of the board and investors-- they see where the trends are going and what's working and what's failing. I keep seeing reports from PubMatic, the new ‘meta ad server’ that sits between the publisher and the ad networks that buy inventory. They have issued several reports and been reported on in MediaPost on the trend in CPM pricing for small, medium and large publishers that sell their ad inventory to ad networks.
